describe your intention
For this SI, I wanted to show my aversion towards art. This aversion is because of perfectionism---in art, there is no “correct” answer and there are many variables that make up an artwork. I want to highlight these variables by making a character-creator style artwork. Instead of making a character, it makes a complete artwork instead. I chose my most common subjects and artistic elements to include as options in my pieces. I chose fish (specifically the german blue ram), floating people, and vegetables (turnip). I plan to use a mix of collage for the background, drawing for the subjects, and acrylic paint for the foreground. I want to use magnets to make the mixing/matching function. I plan to use cardboard

ask a question about the work that you need to resolve
Not quite sure how I will embed the magnets. Should I glue them on top or embed them into the cardboard?
Also, I kind of want to make "filters" with clear plastic (i.e. holographic, maybe drawing designs). Should I implement this?
this idea is HYPE I think you could do something like a fridge magnet for each changeable piece and have the base/background be on top of a strong maganet so the pieces can connect better.
an idea for si 12 as a final piece could perchance be about when the need for patterns affect your everday life in a positive way or smth
i think adding a halographic film would be really cool touch to the piece. For a final SI you could be something with like a darker background and than have the subject of the piece (wether its a fish or a person) be very vibrant or just kind of make it a pop of color.
