What is your intention for the piece? How does it fit in your SI?

My SI is about my draw towards means of organization and pattern recognition is at the heart of every organizational method. I wanted to make a piece highlighting the importance of patterns in charts and life in general, so I researched fractals. Fractals are shapes with detailed patterns that are infinitely complex and are seen in everyday life. Additionally, while researching, I found that Jackson Pollock's "drip technique" paintings and inkblots created fractals. I want to create a collage that displays the repetition of shapes in real life, a painting inspired by Pollock's Number 4 (1951), and another piece displaying patterns and fractals in ink blots.
